We are working to address the needs in characterization of the diseased conditions and soft tissues in surgery, prediction of treatment outcome and treatment options. Our efforts are focused on development and validation of techniques that could potentially lead to safe and effective cure.
Ongoing Research Projects
Functional Imaging of the Female Pelvic Floor
The objective of the study is to develop a new device for functional characterization of the pelvic floor and validate a presurgical predictive model in urogynecology.
Stress Strain Imaging
The objective of the study is to develop a new technique for detection and characterization of endometriosis, adenomyosis and uterine fibroids.
